I M FROM ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT FROM SATHYABAM UNIVERSITY,CHENNAI, THE CAMPUS PLACEMENTS HELD ON THE PANIMALAR COLEGE OF ENGG.. THE WHOLE OF THE JEPPIAR EDUCATIONAL TRUST (SATHYABAMA UNIVERSITY, ST.JOSHEP COLLEGE ,SRR COLLEGE ,AND PANIMALAR COLLEGE OF ENGG ) TOTAL OF 500 GUYS WERE APPEARED FOR APTITUDE EXAMINATION OUT OF 58 WERE SELECTED

THE SELECTION PROCEDURE WAS VERY FAIR .THERE WAS NO SECTIONAL CUT OFF BUT U MUST GET A MARK UP TO A LEVEL IN TECHNICAL SECTION

Hai friends, I am sankilikumar (BE.ECE)from thigarajar college. engg.,madurai-15. its a off-campus. totally 8 colleges. 415 students. first of all..BE CONFIDENCE with PATIENCE.
I attended for some companies previously. But i am still confident and tried and attempted for all, so please be confident.

I Round :- Written Test ( conducted by METRIC Track)415 are attended. It is having 5 phases of paper's .
(1) Verbal Ability --- synonyms,antonyms, articles, wrong sentense's, paragraph's.
(2) Apptitude Ability --- appitude questions from r.s.agarwal (regular)

I came to know about the news a week before the actual day of placement.

Analytical Section:
Cubes related questions are very important and also very easy this time like painting it with three different colors...
Venn diagram questions also quite easy...
Data sufficiency which comes through practice..
Verbal Section:
Find out the incorrect sentence
Find out the correct sentence
Passages
You need to have a very good vocabulary for the verbal section .
Logical Section:
This was the most easiest of all.
You can definitely score in this section
Find the odd man out
Analogy of figures (Simple)
then questions from deductions or syllogism....

who cleared Aptitude Test=25 (Be careful huge reduction in this section)
Students Select in interview=14 (I am one of them)

Selection Procedure:
Infosys is such a company where there is no barrier in stream. That means students from any stream can sit in Infosys. There are no direct Technical round in Infosys.

The whole Selection Process contains two section Aptitude test.
>Analytical & Logical reasoning:(30 question : 40 minutes)
>English section: (40 question : 35 minutes)

hi friends, In our college we got "VIRTUSA" as seventh company...cut off is 65 for power branches and 70 for non it branches....
it directly means dat dey r not interested in non it studs...

h.r interview--------------10 luckily i am 1 among them

written will b 2 n haif hour u should play a very long innings

IGATE PAPER ON 25TH JUNE AT PONDICHERRY

Hi friends... My name is govindram doing my final year b.tech (cse)(2005-2009) at sri manakula vinyagar engineering college,pondicherry.I attended my campus placement at pondicherry university on 25 & 26 of june 2009
There were actually four rounds they are
1) aptitude (English and aptitude)
2)technical 1 interview
3)technical 2 interview
4)HR

APTITUDE
there were actually 50 questions in 50 min.i have never seen such a easiest question paper in my life.There were 4 sets of question paper.no negative marking

IGATE PAPER ON 22nd JULY 2009

Hello friends I am SANJEEV BHARADWAJ V from PES COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, MANDYA. On 22nd July 2009 iGate company visited our college........

There was a ppt from them before the actual tests began..it was around 9.test actually began around 10 30.. I was given a 3-4 sheet question paper n was asked to finish well within 60 min,,,,!!

There were around 50 questions...Pure objective type ( multiple choice questions)

The paper frightened me for a while but some easy questions made me take easy breaths after a while ..
