Here I am Atul presenting you the placement paper of Verizon conducted by Merittrac(The same company that conducts test for Flextronics). So go through the Flextronics Paper also for the preparations as the pattern is same.

There were four sections:
1. Verbal
2. Aptitude
3. Mental Ability
4. C & Data Structures

THIS IS DIXIT MANNAN...currently studying In BCET gurdaspur doing ECE(6th sem) and placed in L&T infotech... for all those people who r preparing for L&t infotech... i think this information will b helpful for u... it was 21st of jan when i went for my first placement exam..it was sant baba bhag singh college of jalandhar...the reporting time was 10 am...and the exam started at about 12...

Round 1: written Aptitude exam...
TOTAL STUDENTS APPEARED : 1000+
SHORT LISTED : 190 in written aptitude there were 3 sections....

hai friends.im suganya from AVC college of engineering. i attended the iflex interview held on 11th and 12 th of July at Anna University,Trichy.i got placed in iflex with my god's blessings and my luck.I would like to share my experience with u all.

Hi friends...this is varun...am doin my B.E final year in CBIT...recently i hav got placed into CTS through oncampus recruitments in our college.
Selection procedure has two steps as usual
1) Written test
2) Technical + HR

WRITTEN TEST:
The test consists of three sections
1)Analytical section
2)Verbal (English)
3)Non-verbal reasoning

Analytical section contains various aptitude questions like one based on directions,blocks problem,questions on ages,relationships etc.
Verbal (English) section is the toughest section.
It has
1-5 choose the incorrect sentence

PROCESS OF SELECTION:-
(1)Written Exam {total 90 questions in 90 mins}
(2)Group Discussion / Extempore
(3) Technical + Hr Interview

(1)WRITTEN EXAM:-( R.S AGRAWAL VERBAL & NON VERBAL + QUANTATIVE)

(1) QUANTATIVE PART {30 questions}
(2) VERBAL PART {30 questions}
(3) LOGICAL REASONING PART {30 questions}

Note:-There was no negative marks but there is sectional cutoff & about 20-22 would be for each section.

Myself Ankita Srivastava , student of B.TECH 3rd year (I.T.) ,IMSEC Ghaziabad. L&T Infotech visited our college on 23 jan, 2008 . Only students having 60% throughout tenth, twelth and b.tech and maximum 4 backlogs that 2 cleared in next attempt were eligible 4 L&T Infotech. Five colleges were there namely IMSEC, AKG, RKGIT, HRIT and SGIT. Approximately 1200 students Appeared 4 the written xam. Around 200+ cleared the written. 63 were frm IMS .

There were four rounds namely:

1. written

2. extempore

3. technical round

4. hr interview

There were around 1500 students from 10-12 colleges who appeared for the test. Out of which only 185 cleared the written exam, and i was one of them. There were 60 questions to be done in 60 min.(+1 for right answer and -ve marking is not certain depends on question diff rent qustion hae differnt -ve marks). It was different from last time as last time there was 50 q and paper was divided into 5 sections...

There were two sections

1. Quant+Logic(40 questions)

APTITUDE TEST
The day started off with the aptitude test. Aptitude test was very very easy.... maths was probably the easiest section.

There are 3 sections- math, logical reasoning, English
English was a little tough. Maths & logic were too easy. Just study the following 2 books by R.S. Agarwal- quantitative aptitude, verbal&non-verbal reasoning.

Don’t study all the topics. For topics refer to the post by Abdullah khan on freshersworld. I don’t remember them.

I am Dinesh Reddy Kasu and I appeared in a iGATE placement recruitment drive held in our college "Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad, Banjarahills" from 22 to 23rd july 2008

I am very happy that I finally got placement after some (Infosys, Accenture, Oracle, Maq) rejections. So all of u who are feeling dishearted cheerup.. because it is all matter of luck... every one would get a chance.. this is my 5th company.. Finally selected 27 and I am in those selected students.. Thanks to God..
